IATA reports passenger demand up

In February, global air transport saw a 21.5% increase in passenger demand compared to the previous year, according to IATA data

The total airline capacity, as measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASK), rose by 18.7% compared to the previous year. Additionally, the load factor in February stood at 80.6%, marking a 1.9 percentage point increase from February 2023.
