Travelers keep ragging on Airbnb. But why? Well, despite the fact that Airbnb's Instagram 'aesthetic' is a Hobbit-style cabin in New Zealand, a treehouse in Nusa Penida, a freaky modernist contraption in the Arctic and so on, the Airbnb reality for most of us, most of the time, is grimly trying to find a cool, but reasonably priced apartment in a city, thinking to yourself "I swear this used to be easier," "maybe I should go crawling back to hotels?" and "I wonder if by 'entire apartment' they really mean 'entire apartment?'"
