Booking.com agrees to €153M settlement with French tax authority

In 2016, French tax authorities were seeking €356m in unpaid taxes from Booking.com

The Dutch hotel booking platform Booking.com said that it had reached an 'amicable' 153 million euro tax settlement with the French authorities covering the period running from 2006 to 2018.

Booking.com says it wants to do its best to ensure “that our activity complies with the law of all the countries in which we operate. This includes our willingness to pay all applicable taxes and duties that are our responsibility” by saying that we are “satisfied” with this agreement.
